Welcome to the Volunteer Service

This service is extremely popular and invites members of our local community an opportunity to become involved.  There are numerous vacancies available, depending on which hospital site you are interested in volunteering at.  The Northern Care Alliance NHS Group Voluntary Service covers Rochdale Infirmary, Fairfield (Bury), Oldham, North Manchester and Salford.  See www.pat.nhs.uk for current volunteering vacancies.

Volunteers work alongside staff to improve and complement the range of services offered to our patients.  We currently have over 500 registered volunteers ranging between the ages of 19-89 from all different cultures and backgrounds.
